The Huichica Music Festival will return to Sonoma this summer, bringing live music, estate-grown wines and locally-sourced food to Gundlach Bundschu Winery. The all-ages festival, produced in conjunction with Folk Yeah, is set for Friday, June 8 and Saturday, June 9.

This year’s Huichica Sonoma lineup will feature both established and up-and-coming indie and folk artists, presented on four stages set among the winery’s 300 acres of vineyards.

The lineup of 32 bands includes Modern Lovers legend Jonathan Richman, Wooden Shjips King Tuff, the Fruit Bats Huichica Jam with surprise guests, Vetiver, Steve Gunn, Iceage, White Fence, Rodrigo Amarante, Once & Future Band, the Fresh & Onlys, Springtime Carnivore and more than a dozen other acts. The complete list is online at sonomanews.com.entertainment.

A portion of proceeds from the festival will benefit the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from the winery and food purveyors.

Gundlach Bundschu and Folk Yeah will also present their third annual Huichica Music Festival: Hudson from Aug. 24 to 26. Hosted at Chaseholm Farm in Pine Plains, New York, a portion of proceeds from the festival will benefit New York Cares. A limited number of three-day early bird tickets will be available on March 2.

General admission tickets for Huichica Sonoma as well as early bird tickets for Huichica Hudson are available now at huichica.com.

Two-day passes to the Sonoma festival available now are $115, with day passes for Friday ($40) and Saturday ($75) to follow.
