Swing Street to perform at Sonoma Valley library on Jan. 13

Performance on Jan. 13 promises free, all-ages fun|

The Swing Street ensemble will play at the Sonoma Valley Library at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13.

Swing Street is a Sonoma County-based, jazz quintet specializing in swing, jazz standards and bossa nova. Swing Street is comprised of trumpet, sax, bass, guitar, percussion and vocals. Their repertoire includes music from the big band era of Glenn Miller and Stan Kenton, to the modern jazz of Stan Getz and Dizzy Gillespie. They also play the likes of Gershwin, Cole Porter, Van Heusen and Hoagy Carmichael. The bossa nova of Antonio Carlos Jobin, Luis Bonfa and more will also be featured.

Swing Street has been performing in and around Sonoma County for more than 20 years.

The event is free and open to all. The library is located at 755 W. Napa St.
