Winter lights magic at the Sonoma library

Mike Della Penna to perform on Dec. 16|

The Sonoma Valley Library presents award-winning Magician Mike Della Penna, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16. The show is aimed at children ages 3 and up. The show, titled “Winter Lights Magic,” is inspired by joyful winter holidays celebrated throughout the world.

Formerly a stand-up comic, Della Penna’s show creates laughter along with the wonder and amazement of magic.

“Mike is funny and has a sparkle that captivates the audience,” says Catherine Gildea, a Bay Area children’s librarian. “His passion for children and magic comes through in his performance.”

The event is free and open to kids 3 and older and their families. Seating is limited and is first-come, first-served. The library is located at 755 W. Napa St.
