Open house and art show at Potter Green on Nov. 19

Five local artists on display at Potter Green|

Potter Green & Co. will host its annual open house on Sunday, Nov. 19 from noon to 5 p.m. in the Garden Barn at Cornerstone Sonoma. The houseware, garden and apparel store will showcase the work of five local artists.

Nina Gerety and Tom Wright are the creative team behind Potter Green & Co.

'We love Sonoma for its rich environment and the wonderful art created here,' said Gerety. 'The idea for a celebration of color and light was inspired by our amazing Sonoma Valley and artists with the unique ability to see and interpret it. The fires have heightened that awareness, giving us all a need to reflect on our surroundings through the eyes of the artist and give pause to its gifts and beauty.'

The featured artists include painter Shelley Masters, photographer Don Kellogg, painter Nancy Granger, designer Howard Weiner and textile artist Susan Stark.

Cline Cellars wines will be served and the afternoon will feature instrumental jazz from the Mad & Eddie Duran Trio, featuring Justin Carney on bass.

Potter Green is located in the Cornerstone Sonoma, 23570 Arnold Drive (Hwy 121). The festivities will begin at noon.
