Barracks Bonfire

Calling all cowpokes! Nothing tastes better than a marshmallow on a stick after a long, dusty day on the range. Gather ‘round the campfire in the historic Sonoma Barracks Courtyard for a short talk, some al fresco singing, and family fun.

Pet a calf, flip a flapjack. The Sonoma Valley 4-H’s annual Flapjack Feed is back. Breakfast with all the fixins and silent auction items to browse, it’s a morning of downhome country fun for a good cause. For more information or to donate to the event, call 529-6085.

Horsepower, of course, was once measured with real horses. Watch animals at work at Plowing Play Day! Hay wagon rides, analogue mowing demos, blacksmithing, and live horseshoeing will be demonstrated alongside sweet-tempered mules and some really big equines.
