Check out our new weekly feature of suggested fun around town.|

Fan Fest

Get an autograph, take a selfie, and meet the Stompers' mascot, Rawhide. America's favorite pastime is back in season. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fan Shop on West Napa Street this Saturday, the boys of summer will meet-and-greet. Plus gear, tickets and food. Free.

Earth Day Fun

Burn a few calories and earn a gold star while repairing the lower Brushy Peaks trail at Sugarloaf State Ridge Park. Volunteers will restore what the wet winter washed away. A big crew is needed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., so come one and all this Saturday and help lighten the load. Register at calparks.org/help/earth-day. Free.

Qi Gong for Newbies

Balance your chi with a synchronized practice on the serene Sweetwater Spectrum campus. When busy mind realigns with stressed, overworked body, the world is in harmony and life is sweet. Saturdays at 10 a.m. throughout the month. Free.

High-Flyers

Get a bird's eye view of the Valley with a film by local fly-boy and thrill-seeker, Daniel Shulte. Soar high and then higher without leaving your chair, and reframe your perspective of home. This Sunday at the Sebastiani at 1 p.m. Free.
