WCFF offers local passes; seeking volunteers

Film fest runs Sept. 22-25|

Organizers of the 30th annual Wine Country Film Festival have announced a program for the four-day September event ranging from art to wine and back again.

Wine Country’s original film festival takes place Sept. 22 - 25 at select venues in Kenwood and Glen Ellen including Muscardini Cellars for outdoor movies, the Dunbar School, Belos Cavalos, and the Kenwood Restaurant.

These community venues will be transformed into state-of-the-art movie theaters. Activities include discussions before and after films with attending filmmakers and other special guests; an art reception and show at Muscardini Cellar celebrating the artists who have contributed to the WCFF official posters over the years; live performances, food, wine (of course) and much more.

Individual film tickets can always be purchased day of show. Cash only.

Local passes for $75 (for Sonoma County residents only ) are on sale now. Each pass includes all films and special events except for a tribute evening to be announced soon.

Contact the festival office at 935-3456 or wcfilmfest@aol.com for more information.

A printed program of films and special events will be available at each venue and online by Sept. 14 at wcff.us.

The film festival is also in need of volunteers as ticket sellers, projectionists, a webmaster and a volunteer coordinator.
