Author shares her ‘cosmovision’

There will be a book launch event for Sonoma local Meg Beeler and her new book, “Living in the Heart of the Universe: Expanding Your Relationship with the Earth and the Cosmos” on Thursday, June 2, at 6:30 p.m.

A reception follows at 7 p.m.

Beeler is an energy alchemy expert and shamanic practitioner.

According to Beeler, she has been exploring the Andean cosmovision for 20 years, translating ancient indigenous wisdom into experiential, earth- and nature-based practices for moving energy and deepening the connection with everything alive.

She is the founder of Earth Caretakers, an organization dedicated to renewing and reweaving human interconnections with stars, trees, and stones; with cross-cultural wisdom and prophesy; and with our bodies, souls and spirits.

Readers’ Books is also offering a personalized writing consultation on the first and third Sunday of every month.

Local editor, writing teacher and publisehr Deb Carlen will be in the store between 1 and 3 p.m. to answer questions about writing projects. These can be specific to a manuscript, or about traditional or self-publishing, or a grammar and punctuation check.

Customers can present their receipts from Readers’ Books in the amount of $20 or more from that Saturday or Sunday and have access to Carlen’s knowledge for five minutes.
