Encarnacion to appear in Fairfax play

Longtime Sonoma resident Anastasia Encarnacion will be appearing in “William a la Shakespeare” as “Nurse” in “Romeo and Juliet” and as “Adriana” in “Comedy of Errors” with the Fairfax Theatre Company (FTC).|

Longtime Sonoma resident Anastasia Encarnacion will be appearing in “William a la Shakespeare” as “Nurse” in “Romeo and Juliet” and as “Adriana” in “Comedy of Errors” with the Fairfax Theatre Company (FTC).

Encarnacion also directs the two scenes from “Comedy of Errors.” 

“William a la Shakespeare” is a collection of iconic scenes from seven of Shakespeare’s plays connected by witty dialogue and sonnets, adapted by Sam Parry, the FTC’s artistic director.

Thursday, July 9 is preview night and is “pay as you will.” The balance of the run is: July 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24 and 25 at the Fairfax Pavilion, 142 Bolinas Road, Fairfax. Tickets are available at eventbrite.com.
