Studio 35, an art gallery in Sonoma, invites Sonoma County artists to participate in a “Call to Artists” competition.

The theme is “Farm to Canvas” (other mediums welcome, too). With the Sonoma area providing gardens, vines, farmers markets, farm animals, cheeses, flowers and organic harvest, there is plenty of inspiration for this focus. Artists are welcome to submit photos, sculptures, jewelry, collage and paintings. Each entry is $15 and needs to be professionally prepared for gallery exhibition.

Full details and guidelines at studio35sonoma.com.

The winning entry will win a month of gallery space at Studio 35, as well as being featured on the website. Ten other artists will be chosen to display for a month as part of a group exhibition.

Studio 35 requests artists submit their art piece early to beat the last-minute time crunch. Pieces need to be delivered to the Gallery from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Monday, as soon as possible, and no later than June 15.

The Gallery is located at 35 Patten St., (one block south of the downtown Plaza) in Sonoma.
