Soroptimist lobster sale set for May 16

The Soroptimist Inter-?national of Sonoma Valley will have live and cooked Maine lobsters from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.|

The Soroptimist Inter-?national of Sonoma Valley will have live and cooked Maine lobsters from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at the Sonoma Chamber of Commerce front lawn, 651 Broadway.

Advance orders are necessary and must be received by noon May 15.

The lobsters weigh approximately 1.5 pounds each and sell for $25 each. To place an order, call Juliette at 338-1874, or Tarja at 843-1248.

The lobsters will be flown into San Francisco from Maine and transported to Sonoma, where buyers can pick up their lobster – live or cooked.

Proceeds from the sales are used to support Soroptimist local projects, which include educational scholarships to graduating seniors from Sonoma Valley High School and donations to several nonprofit organizations in Sonoma Valley.
