Sonoma Overnight Support will host its third annual Mother’s Day Champagne brunch at noon Saturday May 2, at the First Congregational Church’s Burlingame Hall, 252 W. Spain St., Sonoma.

All the proceeds from this event will go to fund SOS programming – the Brown Baggers food programs, Community Outreach Program, and the transitional housing provided at The Haven, Sonoma’s only homeless shelter.

Guests will partake of homemade muffins and breads, a special egg strata, potatoes and mimosas. Guests will be served by students from the Hanna Boys Center and Sonoma Valley Teen Services will provide kitchen help. Emcee David Carlson will encourage the group to participate in funding the new SOS women and children’s shelter.

Tickets are $30 a person. To purchase a ticket or sponsor a table, visit the SOS website, sonomaovernightsupport.org or call 939-6777. Tickets can also be purchased at Readers’ Books, 130 E. Napa St., Sonoma.

Sonoma Overnight Support has been feeding the hungry, housing the homeless and providing care for those in need in Sonoma Valley since 2003.
