Tickets are still available for the 10th annual VinOlivo Weekend presented by Sonoma Valley Vintners and Growers Alliance (SVVGA).

VinOlivo Weekend showcases more than 60 wineries and 25 top restaurateurs from throughout the Valley. Saturday night’s Grand Tasting is the valley’s largest annual winetasting event, celebrating the Sonoma Valley’s unique heritage as the birthplace of California’s world-class wines.

The Grand Tasting presented by The Lodge at Sonoma will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at The Lodge at Sonoma. VIP ticketholders gain early access at 6:30pm.

Grand Tasting highlights include:

• Sip Sonoma Valley’s best wines while getting to know the artisans who craft them.

• Indulge in the culinary delights of Sonoma Valley’s finest restaurateurs, caterers, and food purveyors.

• Savor the diversity found at the VinOlivo Olive Bar.

• Experience the pairing of pommes frites and sparkling wines found in the popular VinOlivo Sparkling Room.

Tickets are $75 general admission in advance, $85 at the door and $95 VIP admission. Tickets are on sale at sonomavalleywine.com or call 935-0803.

The VinOlivo Winemaker Dinner Friday night at Williams-Sonoma is sold out.

The VinOlivo Weekend tasting pass gives ticketholders special access to over 40 Sonoma Valley wineries. Pass holders will receive a menu of special offers, varying from winery to winery, ranging from complimentary tastings and discounted wine pricing, to barrel tastings and winery tours. The three-day ticket to Sonoma Valley can be used Friday, March 13, to Sunday, March 15, at participating wineries throughout Sonoma Valley at a cost of $50 per person.

A one-day ticket to Sonoma Valley allows guests to select a single day out of the three available to partake in the special access. The one-day ticket is available for $25 per person. Tickets are on sale at sonomavalleywine.com.

The VinOlivo Weekend VIP ticket package includes early access to the grand tasting event on Saturday night and a three-day ticket to Sonoma Valley tasting pass, for an all-inclusive price of $130.

The VinOlivo Weekend online auction returns once again offering prized Sonoma Valley wines and unique vacation experiences.
