Redd headlines comedy at Murphy’s

Comic Jasper Redd headlines two shows of stand-up comedy, hosted by Torio Van Grol, at Murphy’s Irish Pub on Saturday, Dec. 27.

The shows are at 7 and 9:30 p.m.

Redd’s fresh off a run in the most recent season of NBCs “Last Comic Standing” and the release of his Netflix special, “Jazz Talk.”

A native of Tennessee, Redd began his comedy career in San Francisco. He has since been performing non-stop at comedy clubs and colleges all over the country. Known for his delivery and posture, he’s delighted audiences with his keen musings on the human condition. He performs regularly on TV, including his own Comedy Central special and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien.” 

Along with Redd, the show features two up-and-coming comedians, Aviva Siegel and Stephen Furey.  

Siegel is a San Francisco comedian with a unique speaking voice, and a reliable laugh-getter. She is currently a producer on “Talkies” at Lost Weekend Video, “The People Under The Stairs” with Jules Posner, and “The Smart Culture Show” in Oakland. Her credits include Sleepaway Camp in L.A., a skate ramp in Oakland, and The Business SF.

Furey is a Sacramento-based comic. He co-hosts the Belligerently Uninformed Podcast, recorded weekly at the Sacramento Comedy Spot. He co-produces two shows as well, under the titles C.W.A & Belligerently Uninformed Presents.
