Thankful for all the music in Sonoma Valley

With the end of the year approaching and the holidays upon us, it’s a time that many look back and reflect on the things for which we’re thankful. The health of ourselves and families aside, we have so much here on “the Island,” to be thankful for, a place where people save money all year to come and do, for a few days, what we do here every day. We’ve said many times, the bounty of local musicians in the little Valley has always amazed us, and the quality of the players and variety of genres is always impressive. Many we’re friends with, many we don’t know yet, but for all of them, we’re thankful that they share their art with us, along with all the fine food, wine and other things people come here for. We’re wishing each and every one of you readers a healthy and happy holiday season, and we’re thankful you read the column. Be sure to check out the Friday edition where we’ll run down all the New Year’s festivities we have lined up.
