After playing their final nonleague opponent, the Sonoma Valley High School varsity football boys, who turned in a standout team effort in rallying for a 21-14 win over John F. Kennedy in Richmond last Friday, will resume their Sonoma County League schedule tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 12.

The Dragons travel to Santa Rosa for a 2 p.m. SCL clash with Piner, preceded by the junior varsity game at noon.

Both Sonoma and the Prospectors enter the game battling for second place after they both lost to powerhouse defending champion Analy.

Following the Saturday showdown, the Dragons will host longtime SCL rival Healdsburg in their homecoming game at 7:30 p.m. next Friday night, Oct. 18, under the Arnold Field lights.
