Dragon gridders play tonight at nonleague power McClymonds

Taking a rare break in their Sonoma County League season, the Sonoma Valley High School varsity football boys travel to Oakland tonight for a nonleague clash with undefeated powerhouse McClymonds, which is a favorite to reach the season-ending state small-school championship.

The Dragons return to SCL action at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17, when they host Piner in their annual homecoming game at Arnold Field.

Sonoma's gridders then finish the league and regular season at Healdsburg on Friday, Oct. 24; followed by hosting El Molino in their final home game; and then traveling to Santa Rosa to play Elsie Allen in their campaign finale.
