Dragon gridders easily dispatch El Molino

The Sonoma football Dragons scored the first three times they touched the ball Friday night and ran off to a 46-26 win over El Molino at Forestville.

The Dragons held a 26-13 lead at the half, but it could have been worse. Sonoma, on two different possessions, failed to score from inside the 5-yard line.

Sonoma added two third-quarter TDs to stretch the lead to 40-13. The Dragons put another TD on the board in the fourth quarter and the Lions scored twice making the final 46-26.

The win is Sonoma’s fourth straight giving the Dragons a 6-2 overall record and 3-1 in the SCL. The Dragons host Elsie Allen Friday night in the final scheduled home game of the season.
