Dorothy L. Carrigan

Dorothy Carrigan spent her childhood in Lincoln County, New Mexico, and her adolescence in Los Angeles, where she met her future husband, Raymond. They moved from Los Angeles to Northern California where they raised their seven children.

Dorothy approached all that she did with an artistic eye and intuitive sense. Her gardens were beautiful, and her meals were works of art. She especially valued her faith in God, and throughout her life she focused on sharing his faith with her children and friends.

Dorothy was a blessing in life and will be greatly missed.

Dorothy was the beloved mother of Sister Jeanne Carrigan, OSF, Susan Carrigan Park, Dominique Carrigan, Dolores Hardin, Mary Margaret Lamb, Victor Carrigan and Stephen “Matthew” Carrigan.

A rosary was said Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014; funeral Mass was said Aug. 14, 2014, both at the Immaculate Conception Church, Post Falls, Idaho. Burial will be at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake, Washington. English Funeral Chapel, Post Falls, Idaho, has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
