Diana Lee ‘Diane’ Johnson

Diana Lee “Diane” Johnson, 77, passed away on March 31, 2014, in Sonoma. Diane was born on March 8, 1937, in Richmond and moved to Sonoma in 1983. As a longtime resident of Sonoma, Diane made many lifelong friendships and enriched many lives. Diane worked for the Sonoma school district for 20 years before retirement, and enjoyed working with educators and children. Diane was loved by many for her selfless and giving qualities and her memory will live on in the lives she touched.

Diane is survived by her husband, Lynn Johnson; daughter, Kristin Johnson; son, Dave (Stephanie) Johnson; grandchildren: Miles, Zach and Everet Johnson, all of Sonoma; and sister, Judy Timm, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her parents, Grace and Robert Timm, and sister, Patty Frazier.

At her request, no formal services will be held. In memory of Diane and her selfless, giving spirit, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Private inurnment at a later date at her family’s plot at Chapel of the Chimes Cemetery in Oakland.
