Depot Park Museum launches gift shop

The Depot Park Museum has just completed the addition of its new gift shop featuring unique, one-of-a-kind items for adults, teens and children, most of which can’t be found in Sonoma’s local shops.

Just in time for the holidays the museum offers Christmas ornaments as well as handmade and vintage jewelry, antique figures, European plates and vases. African-carved animals, and items from Italy, Peru, Japan and elsewhere. For children, there are bracelets, necklaces, key chains, train whistles, dolls, toys and educational items.

The shop also offers books by local authors including several new editions.

Although the sales area is small in the museum, it is packed with an assortment of treasures. As soon as items sell they are replaced with different ones, so there's always a variety to choose from. The prices are reasonable with many gifts under $10 and other special pieces from $12 to $50.

Depot Park Museum is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.  For more information, call 938-1762.
