Formed just this year, Deadbelly reunites former members of the local rock band Strange October Day, and adds local bassist Charles Bocchetti to the mix on Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Blue Moon Saloon. Deadbelly combines tributes to classic acts such as Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Cream, and the Beatles, as well as more recent artists such as Nirvana, Elliot Smith, and Ray Lamontaigne. The act also has a roster of original tunes that blend these rock periods in their own inimitable style. Deadbelly make-up is in the form of the classic rock lineup of bass, guitars, drums and vocal harmonies. The act consists of Levi Chavoya, J.B. Duff, David Hinkley and Charles Bocchetti. Showtime is 10 p.m. and there is no cover.
