Daniel J. Polan, 52, passed away on June 11, 2014, in Santa Rosa.
He is survived by his wife, Darcie Polan. He was the proud father of Nicole and Ricky Polan, Joseph Conn, and Jaclyn Polan; dear son of Joan Polan; and brother of Thomas Polan.
He enjoyed riding his Harley, camping, swimming, music, and making people laugh. He had a great sense of humor. Down to earth, loyal, genuine, and funny could best describe the man he was. His greatest sense of pride was in all of his children. A friend once said, “Life is an adventure with Dan.” Indeed it was.
Dan was a maintenance supervisor in property management for 20 years. He was a resident of Sonoma County for 43 years and a native of San Francisco.
Friends are invited to a celebration of life at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Duggan’s Mission Chapel. A private inurnment will be held.
