Boys & Girls Clubs Fashion in the Vineyards raises $75K

Punk: Soho to Sonoma was the theme to this year’s 10th annual Fashion in the Vineyards event, a two-day showcase of Sonoma Valley designers and merchants, benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley Teen Programs including College Bound and Career Launch.

The event netted an estimated $75,000.

According to organizers, the event was a success.

“We exceeded not only our financial goals but also brought together community merchants and designers to put on a show to support the Boys & Girls Club. Thank you to our event sponsors, patrons, volunteers, designers, retailers, photographers and models,” said Dana Freudenberger, event chair. “Their contributions will definitely jump start our new Career Launch program and enhance our teen services. We are paving the way for the future.”

Gary Edwards received the club’s “Angel Award” for his exemplary support of the Boys & Girls Club and selfless giving of his time and finances, his commitment to collaborative opportunities, and his tireless energy in bringing new and entrepreneurial program ideas.
