Gypsy Jubilee at Annex Wine Bar

It’s a “Hippie Hoe-Down” of sorts, and they’re calling it the Gypsy Jubilee which includes a full day of music, arts and crafts and food on Saturday, June 21, at Annex Wine Bar, kicking off at 2 p.m. and running until 9:30 p.m. with a full slate of local music acts and local craft vendors as well.

The music line-up brings in Wildflower Weed, Don Trotta, J. M. Berry, Jeff Falconer, John Wilson, Sue Albano’s new band Tsunami, Wildflower Weed and Friends, Acoustic Soul and many special guests sitting in throughout the day.

Craft vendors include hand-dyed clothing, Lucia Blu and Ramona Walker Jewelry, Penny Byrd, Herbal Products, Valley Ford Mercantile and Wool Mill, tarot card readings by Joia and more. The event is free and open to the public, but the venue is 21 and over only. Friendly dogs on a leash are also welcome.

Annex Wine Bar also has music tonight, June 20, with Dawn Angelosante and Deirdre Egan, for a 7:30 p.m. show.

The B. R. Cohn Fall Festival has announced another act in the line-up for the show to be held Sept. 19 through 22, with John Waite of the Babys fame playing both concert days and also at the Friday night auction dinner. He joins Peter Frampton, Huey Lewis and the News, the Wallflowers, Los Lonely Boys, members of Little Feat and additional acts to be announced at the annual charity festival.
