Sonoma Valley High School’s agriculture mechanics class, under the direction of teacher Dan Aschwanden, custom built, by hand, a shed this year at the high school farm on campus. Currently Sonoma Valley High has 391 students enrolled in at least one ag class in grades 9 through 12, up from 177 just four years ago. The classes are split evenly between boys and girls. Junior Maddy Ayers, senior Kyler Fritz and junior Autumn McElroy were three of the students who helped build the shed.
