British invasion at the Sonoma Veterans Building

The British are coming! Well, kind of. The Sonoma Valley Chorale is presenting its spring concert, titled “The British Are Coming! The British Are Coming!” this weekend for two shows, Saturday May 17, and Sunday May 18, at the Sonoma Valley Veterans Memorial Building. The performances will feature songs by Andrew Lloyd Weber and also many from the Beatles, Queen and many more. Saturdays show goes off at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday is a matinee show at 2 p.m. Advance tickets are available at Pharmaca or at the door.

Local wineries and tasting rooms have a plethora of live music this weekend kicking off tonight, May 16, at Sebastiani Winery and Vineyards with Wake the Neighbors kicking off at 6 p.m. There is no cover and the venue is child and dog-friendly.

B. R. Cohn Winery in Glen Ellen welcomes Brandon Hassur on Sunday, May 18, for a 2 p.m. show.

The Erik James Tasting Room has music tonight, May 16, with Macy Blackman, kicking off at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 17, it’s the Tri Tip Trio, also for a 7 p.m. show. There is no cover either night.

Viansa Winery in Carneros is presenting a weekly music series that features the Epic Duo on Saturday, May 17, kicking off at noon.

The Annex Wine Bar has Acoustic Soul tonight, May 16, kicking off at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 17, it’s the Little Mountain String Band, also for a 7:30 p.m. show. There is no cover for any of the shows but the venue is 21 and over.
