The minor league, independent Sonoma Stompers Baseball Club will hold a job fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at the Sonoma Community Center, 276 E. Napa St., Sonoma. The Stompers will be looking to hire a number of day-of-game staff for the 2014 season.
Prospective employees, 16 years of age or older, will be able to apply for one of the many positions that are available, including:
General ballpark staff, merchandise sales, Cline Club servers, ticket sellers and takers, ushers and beer, wine concessions staff.
All potential employees will be asked to fill out an application and will be subject to background checks. Individuals are encouraged to bring two forms of identification.

The Sonoma Stompers begin their 2014 regular season at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, against the San Rafael Pacifics at Albert Park in San Rafael. The Stompers open their home schedule at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, at Arnold Field. Season tickets are on sale now at stompersbaseball.com, and single game tickets are now on sale.
