Sonomafest 2014 is five straight days of motorcycle action on Sonoma Raceway’s famed 12-turn road course, starts tomorrow, Wednesday, April 30, and concludes Sunday, May 4, and will feature two charity events for Speedway Children’s Charities, which is the charitable arm of Sonoma Raceway.

The 3J’s Motorcycle Days’ 20th charity event on Wednesday includes a full track day of riding around the road course, a catered lunch, T-shirt, a commemorative item and an evening reception for all riders. The cost is $275 and all riding levels are welcome.

Participants can also purchase raffle tickets to win prizes including a one-night stay at MacArthur Place, a champagne-tasting experience at Korbel Winery or dinner at Melting Pot restaurant. For more details, visit

Riders can also enjoy a scenic group ride departing from Sonoma Raceway on Saturday, May 3, with the RKA/Sonoma Raceway Wine Country Charity Ride.

The ride, organized by RKA Motorcycle Luggage, will include a cruise through Sonoma and Marin Counties and a stop for lunch at Rancho Nicasio, before concluding back at the raceway.

The ride is free to join, but a donation to Speedway Children’s Charities is suggested upon arrival. There will also be a charity drawing for motorcycle gear, with the lunch costing $25 plus gratuity.

Also on the Sonomafest schedule is the two-day American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association on Thursday and Friday, May 1 and 2; and the American Federation of Motorcyclists (AFM) featuring the GEICO Motorcycle Superbike Shootout Series (presented by Yamaha), as well as Supermoto USA and the RKA/Sonoma Raceway Wine Country Charity Ride on Saturday and Sunday, May 3 and 4.

AFM tickets will be available at the gate for $25; children ages 12-and-under, along with parking, are free. For more information, visit
