Holy Olate Dogs Sonoma! We are having such a blast hosting the Olate Dogs and their humans at the shelter. If you haven’t had a chance to see them, please come to the children’s program at the Film Festival from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. tomorrow, Saturday, where they will perform after their film, “Le Sauvetage.”
The children’s program also screens a sweet film titled, “Fortissimo” and will feature an amazing performance from Everybody is a Star led by the one and only Nicholas Olate. This show is courtesy of local producer Howard Sapper and Halo, Purely for Pets. Children under 12 are free and only $10 for adults.
I know I mentioned this in my last column, but Pets Lifeline is so grateful to Halo for their incredible donation to the shelter of 10,000 meals of Spot’s Stew through FreeKibbile.com. It’s gourmet dining for the cats and dogs for months. Halo has an incredible product line that is made with all natural ingredients to promote good health in cats and dogs.
We are still looking for a home for our sweet Bessie. She is the lab/boxer mix who is the mother of my dog Doc. We just don’t know why she is still here. She is an absolute doll who adores all things on two legs (kangaroos are the exception). She does not do well with anything on four legs and needs to be in a home with no other animal. She is awesome with all people and kids. If you are currently petless and looking for some unconditional love to last the ages, please come meet our wonderful Bessie girl.
We also have a pretty cute little 8-week-old puppy named Bruno. A very unusual greyish/brown lab/spaniel/doodly mix with brilliant blue eyes. He will be available soon pending a health check but we will take applications if you are interested. We also just took in five very nice dogs from another shelter. Two min-pin mixes, one tan and one black and tan, and another small chi mix. There are also two beautiful medium sized dogs that are bazenji/terrier/shepherd mixes or as we like to call them American Shelter Dogs. Please come to the shelter to meet our dogs. Feel free to talk to any staff if you have any questions.
