The Silver Moon Theatre’s Nellie Cravens will teach improvisation classes starting March 26, and running through May 27, at the Sonoma Community Center.

The classes are sponsored by the Sonoma Community Center and Silver Moon Theatre.

Beginners are welcome. Participants will be acting without a script, playing theatre games and discovering drama exercises. Actors will build confidence, self-reliance and spontaneity.

Improvisation for young people, ages 10-to-16, is on Wednesdays, from 4 to 6 p.m. March 26 to May 21. Improvisation for adults, ages 16 and up, is on Thursdays, from 7 to 9 p.m., March 27 to May 27. No classes on April 16 and 17.

All are at the Sonoma Community Center, 276 E. Napa St., Sonoma.

Cost for eight sessions is $140 or $126 for SCC members.
