Walt Williams’ Creekside High School students were on the Plaza Friday afternoon protesting fracking for oil. Well, most were protesting anyway. Of the 16 students, 14 were protesting against fracking while two were pro-fracking. The mini-protest was the result of a class at the school that examined the fracking issue, and Williams encouraged the students to make signs and come to the Plaza. In addition, one student made an anti-Crimean war sign while another protested the fact that his teacher was making him protest.
