The Arts Guild of Sonoma presents the 2014 REPO Show, the guild’s green-themed fundraiser and a silent auction of art works made from recycled materials by over 70 local artists.

An opening reception is set for 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 7, at the Arts Guild of Sonoma gallery, 140 E. Napa St., Sonoma. Come for the art, the food and local wine, interesting guests and live music. Admission is $10 at the door the night of the event.

Each piece in the exhibit is available to the public for silent auction bids for the duration of the show, which runs from March 7 to March 29. Bids can be made at the gallery or online at

The REPO Show solicits original artworks composed of at least 70 percent recycled, re-claimed or re-used materials. The show exhibits artwork by professional artists, including guild members and their artist guests, AGS community members and community leaders. All entries are donated by the artists for the silent auction, which benefits the guild and its many community outreach programs.

The Arts Guild of Sonoma, located right off the historic Sonoma Plaza, is a contemporary art gallery with changing monthly exhibits showcasing the work of local artists. Opening receptions are held on the first Friday of each month and exhibit pieces in acrylic, encaustic, oil and watercolor paintings, jewelry, mixed media work, ceramics, metal sculpture and more, including smaller objets d’art, prints and note cards.

All works are available for purchase at a wide range of prices. Visitors are welcome to browse or buy, meet guild artists and experience the vanguard of the Sonoma art scene. Local wine and nibbles are always served.
