The Sonoma International Film Festival is seeking several hundred volunteers to greet visitors, work the parties and screenings, provide hospitality for filmmakers, and help with pre-festival production.
New and returning volunteers are invited to attend the volunteer orientation meeting on Thursday, March 6, at Vintage House senior center, 264 First St. E. Staff will give an overview of the festival and talk about volunteer opportunities available.
Volunteers from previous years have raved about the experience of being amongst the festival’s inner circle, and the lasting friendships that they forged.
“Volunteering is a unique opportunity to meet new people, contribute to the making of an iconic film festival and make special memories in the process,” said Ginny Krieger, assistant director.
The film festival runs April 2 through April 6.
