Mosey Boys perform at library

In conjunction with the Friends of the Sonoma Valley Library winter book sale, the music trio, The Mosey Boys will play at the Sonoma Valley Library at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 in the main room of the library.

The Mosey Boys are a musical force to be reckoned with. The Sonoma-based acoustic power trio featuring Adam Traum on guitar and vocals, David Thom on mandolin, vocals and guitar and Jack Hines on bass and vocals, seamlessly cross-pollinates Americana genres featuring bluegrass, country blues, rockabilly and folk styles.

Traum started working with Thom in 2012 and shortly thereafter Thom played on and co-produced Traum’s latest CD “Just Like Home.” Around the same time, Hines and Traum had an informal jam and Hines quickly became Traum’s “go-to” bassist and partner in crime.

The three artists who are active in bands throughout the Bay Area started playing together more often and have quickly become a tight musical unit blending stellar lead vocals and harmonies with outstanding musicianship.

This program is free and open to the public. The concert is through the generosity of the Friends of the Sonoma Library. The library is located at 755 W. Napa St.
