Sonoma Community Center will host a workshop in experimental printmaking with Anne Beck of the Lost Coast Culture Machine from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 22 and 23.

Emphasizing experimentation in multiple making, this hands-on studio workshop will introduce students to polyester plate lithography, non-photo screen printing, and transfer and stenciling techniques. These practices will then be combined and layered to create unique mono prints or a small edition. All processes are non-toxic. All levels are welcome.

Located in Fort Bragg, Lost Coast Culture Machine is an artist-run contemporary art space and handmade paper mill with a focus on interdisciplinary and sustainable creative practice. LCCM was featured in a 2011 New York Times piece on the Mendocino Coast.
