John Jorgenson at the SCC

The Winter Concert Series continues at the Sonoma Community Center on Saturday, Jan. 25, on the Rotary Stage with a performance by John Jorgenson.

In addition to acoustic and electric guitars, he is regularly featured on saxophone, clarinet, bouzouki, pedal steel, mandolin and vocals and has garnered recognition for contributing to numerous platinum-selling and Grammy Award-winning albums. Jorgenson is a founding member of the Desert Rose Band, the Hellecasters, and a six-year member of Elton John’s band.

His collaborations include the John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band, the John Jorgenson gypsy jazz quintet and the John Jorgenson Electric Band. Tickets are available at the Sonoma Community Center box office or at the door if available. For more info, call 938-4626, ext. 1.
