After a sparkling senior season in which he led Sonoma Valley High School’s varsity football team to a 7-3 overall record, a 4-2 Sonoma County League second-place mark and a postseason berth in the North Coast Section playoffs, Dan Deely received All-Metro North Bay honorable mention as a quarterback by the San Francisco Chronicle on Sunday.

The 6-foot, 185-pound Deely accumulated 2,057 total offensive yards for a 205.7 yards-a-game average, including 118 pass completions out of 225 attempts for 1,467 yards, 17 touchdowns and five interceptions. He also rushed for 590 yards on 132 carries and 11 touchdowns.
