The Sonoma Community Center will host its annual “Chili Bowl Express” fundraising event, to be held in its Rotary Community Kitchen from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17. Proceeds will support Sonoma Community Center’s ceramics arts education program.
Upon admission, ticket buyers can choose a handmade ceramic bowl, created by local artists, students and members of SCC’s ceramics studio, and have it filled with their choice of gourmet chili. This year, the menu will include a variety of options including beef, turkey and vegetarian chilis. Sonoma County’s own Cadillac Converters will play live music.
Tickets are available for $20 a person, with beverages available for purchase. For tickets, call 938-4626, ext. 1, drop by the center at 276 E. Napa St., or visit the website at sonomacommunitycenter.org.
Sonoma Community Center exists to enrich the lives of Sonoma Valley residents by fostering a broad range of cultural, educational, and community services, and by the preservation of its historic building.
