Capping an exhilerating fall season that saw the Sonoma Valley High School varsity soccer boys compile a 14-7-1 overall record, capture a Sonoma County League co-title and claim a postseason berth in the North Coast Section Division-1 playoffs, 13 Dragons recently earned SCL all-league honors.

With their outstanding SCL play sparking the Dragons to a 10-2 record and the co-championship, seniors Andy Chávez, Anthony García, Paco Martínez and Brian Ruiz, and junior goalkeeper Jose “Ángel” Garcia, were first-team all-league selections.

Named to the SCL all-league second-team were seniors Alejandro Echeverría, Max Floerke, Miguel Guillen and Zack Thompson, and sophomore Edwin Reyes.

Receiving SCL all-league honorable mention were junior Alexis Zamudio and sophomores Haliel Juárez and Teodoro Magaña.

Sonoma's Chávez, Echeverría and Ruiz were repeat SCL all-leaguers.
