Santa’s coming to Sonoma Friday

Santa Claus will make his annual appearance Friday, Dec. 6, in front of Sonoma City Hall.

Santa will arrive, as usual, on an antique fire truck at 5:30 p.m. to light the tree at City Hall and to meet the boys and girls who come out to greet him. The festivities get under way at 5 p.m. with the Sonoma Valley Soroptimists serving hot chocolate and the Sonoma Conservatory of Dance putting on a performance.

Afterward, follow Santa to the Sebastiani Theatre for a showing of Disney’s new movie, “Frozen,” or take a walk around downtown and admire the shops’ Christmas goodies.
