The abundant produce from Altimira Middle School's production garden was on display at the school's recent Harvest Festival. Families entered a homemade salsa competition, which was won (by popular vote) by Mireya Rodriguez. The community enjoyed snacks from the garden, prepared by the school's horticulture students, craft-making, salsa dancing and a tour of the gardens. Pictured are seventh graders Jackson Barbagelata, Gavin Koler, Ryan Ball and Justin Cox with just a few of the many pumpkins on display, grown right there on school grounds.
