While leading Sonoma Valley High School’s varsity football team to its current 6-2 overall record and 3-1 Sonoma County League mark as an all-league quarterback and defensive back, senior Dan Deely will also be thinking a little baseball, though the spring sport is months away from starting.

Besides his sparkling grid play, Deely is a standout, two-time all-league shortstop who plans to play baseball at the next level and will sign a national letter of intent for a baseball scholarship to NCAA Division-1 Sacramento State University on Wednesday, Nov. 13.
