Soroptimist International of Sonoma Valley will again be selling live and cooked Maine lobsters at the Sonoma Chamber of Commerce front lawn, 651 Broadway, on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
But orders must be placed in advance and received by Friday, Oct. 25.
The lobsters approximately weigh 1.5-pounds each and sell for $25 apiece. The lobsters will be flown into San Francisco from Maine and transported to Sonoma. Lobsters can be picked up outside the Chamber of Commerce either live or cooked.
Place orders by calling Juliette at 939-2661, Tami at 287-3908 or Sandy at 996-3099.
Proceeds from the sales are used to support the Soroptimist’s local projects, such as its educational scholarships to graduating seniors from Sonoma Valley High School and donations to a wide variety of nonprofit organizations across Sonoma Valley.
Soroptimists is an international volunteer service organization for women who work to improve the lives of women and girls in their local community and throughout the world.
