Larson Family Winery once again demonstrated its support for Sonoma’s Future Farmers of America, this time by hosting the youth group’s annual fundraiser. Taking place last Saturday, guests were treated to a Wine Country barbecue that included oysters and tri-tip, three-cheese polenta, baked beans and loaf after loaf of garlic bread. Above, Andrew Toimil was so excited during the live auction, he stood to ensure his bid on a lot of 60 bottles of California wine wouldn’t be missed. All proceeds from the night’s ticket sales, as well as the money raised in the live and silent auction, will support students who are expanding their agricultural education by taking part in the FFA program at Sonoma Valley High School.
