Auditions this weekend for 'Christmas Carol'

Actors are sought for a community production of Charles Dickens’ classic “A Christmas Carol,” which will be performed at the Sonoma Community Center in December.

Auditions will take place both days this weekend around 2 p.m. at a private residence, but play producers will be somewhat flexible about the time to avoid a bottleneck of performers.

Produced by Jim Kent and Anne Petersen teamed up with Aidan O’Rielly of the Sonoma Valley Shakespeare Company and his talented troupe of actors, to bring this beloved seasonal story to life in Sonoma. The production is seeking actors of all ages, including up to eight children and a handful of adults. Young actresses are invited to also try out for Tiny Tim’s role.

The show will run Dec. 13, 14, 15, 20, 21 and 23 at the Sonoma Community Center.

Those interested in auditioning this weekend can call, text or email Kent at 280-1078 or jamesrkent@earthlink.net.
