Both Sonoma Valley High School’s tennis and golf girls' teams, along with the varsity water polo boys, dropped heartbreaking home decisions in league matches played Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.

Sustaining Sonoma’s losses were junior Cecilia Montano’s 0-6, 2-6  to Jade Wight at No. 1 singles; junior Annie Morgan’s 4-6, 2-6 to Alya Behr at No. 4 singles; senior Ava Gonzales’ and sophomore Brenda Maldonado’s 6-7 (5), 3-6 to Kate Stewart and Hannah Caruso at No. 1 doubles; and seniors Haley Glasner’s and Brooke Slack’s 3-6, 5-7 to Darcy Spenser and Carley Fiser-Tachouet at No. 2 doubles.

Sonoma’s young golfing girls were trimmed 333-349 by SCL foe Petaluma at the Sonoma Golf Club.
