The Glen Ellen Village Fair takes place on Sunday, Oct. 13, but before that, organizers are looking for talented artists to contribute designs for this year’s T-shirt.
A contest will be held to determine the winning art.
Anyone interested can submit their artwork on a standard, 8.5-by-11-inch piece of paper. All designs must be digital PDFs and must be at least 600 dpi to be reproduced.
For those without the technology, the Copy Store and More in Sonoma can scan and email designs for $3. Submissions must be emailed to email@example.com by Sept. 30. The winning artwork will be featured on the T-shirt and sold at the event.
This year’s theme of the Glen Ellen Village Fair is “Food for Thought” based on the traditional fair quilt which was hand-sewn by Nancy Murray, MaryAnn Carr, Deb Pool, Margie Foster, Cathy Leonard, Sylvia Crawford, Yvonne Soto-Pomeroy, Chris Gooding, Leslie Smith, Marsha Moran, Janet Hansen, Blythe Carver, Pamela Wiley and Alexa Wood.
