Nuestra Voz of Sonoma is pulling out all the stops for its fifth annual celebration of Mexican Independence Day on the Sonoma Plaza, set for Sunday, Sept. 15, from noon to 8 p.m.

Music, dance and ethnic food booths available for the entire community will mark this historical event, which echoes celebrations held in Mexico and highlights ethnic heritage in the Sonoma Valley community.

There is no charge to attend, and food and drinks will be available for purchase.
