Sheriff to discuss law enforcement and public safety

Sonoma Valley residents will have the opportunity to discuss public safety and law enforcement issues with Sonoma County Sheriff Steve Freitas at a community meeting from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at the Sonoma Valley Grange Hall.

The Sonoma Valley Grange and Gina Cuclis, a longtime Springs activist and Sonoma County board of education trustee, are hosting Freitas’ visit. The meeting is free and open to the public.

Cuclis, who will moderate the meeting, said most of the evening would be devoted to questions from the audience, after an opening statement by the sheriff about his goals and priorities.

The Grange Hall is at 18627 Highway 12. For more information, contact Cuclis at ginacuclis@gmail.com.
